The Lecturers Unit (IX) is a systemwide bargaining unit of Non-Academic Senate Lecturers who provide vital instructional services at UC campuses and medical centers. The unit is represented by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). Currently, the unit includes approximately 5,351* employees.
