Academic Researchers Unit

The University of California employs about 4,903 academic researchers throughout the university system. Academic researchers at the University of California are comprised of Academic Specialists, Project Scientists, Professional Researchers and Coordinators of Public Programs.

This systemwide academic researchers bargaining unit is represented by UAW 5810.
