Non-Senate Instructional (Lecturers)

The University of California employs about 5,361 non-academic Senate lecturers who provide vital instructional services at nine campuses. This systemwide bargaining unit is represented by the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).

The current contract for this bargaining unit is in effect through June 30, 2026 and there are no active negotiations taking place. Negotiations for the next contract will begin before the current contract expires.
