UC Travel Supplier Town Hall series continues with Hertz, Delta Airlines, Marriott and more

For the fifth year in a row, the UC Central Travel Office is hosting a series of virtual events featuring representatives from high-profile vendors who support UC travelers — airlines, hotel groups, car rentals and more.

This is your opportunity to connect directly with a variety of suppliers and learn about UC’s ongoing partnerships. Promoted to over 50,000 UC faculty and staff across all campuses and health centers, events consistently draw an average of 380 participants per session and maintain a strong satisfaction rating of over 84%.

October 15: Hertz will highlight UC contracted benefits, including guaranteed unlimited mileage and no drop-off fees for one-way rentals within California. Participants will be entered to win one of several giveaways, including four Gold Club status match upgrade from current tier, up to and including President’s Circle and two $100 Gift Certificates. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of six winners will be randomly selected during the session.

October 22: Delta Air Lines will showcase the many benefits of the UC contract, including access to free preferred seats, priority boarding and many others opportunities to make your travel easier.

October 29: Marriott has launched a new outdoor brand to answer the call of the wild, and senior leadership will be on hand to share what this brand offers and how it provides for unforgettable adventures. Participants will be entered to win one of five Marriott Bonvoy Outdoor Swag Kit, which will include a quick dry towel, water bottle, hat and socks. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of five winners will be randomly selected during the session.

November 5: Uber — Discover how to make your university business trip convenient, hassle-free and enjoyable with Uber! Participants will be entered to win one of 10 $20 Uber Eats vouchers. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of 10 winners will be randomly selected during the session.

November 12: CQ (Club Quarters) will highlight their prime locations in major cities and share how to take advantage of UC exclusive weekend/holiday rates. Participants will be entered to win one of two certificates for a two-night stay at any of their locations. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of two winners will be randomly selected during the session.

December 3: United Airlines and Lufthansa Group will share benefits exclusive to our travelers when tickets are booked within UC contract, along with updates on the exciting changes of what they mean for you! Participants will be entered to win one of several giveaways, including two United Airlines tickets for travel anywhere within the USA, two United Annual Lounge Passes and a Lufthansa Model Airplane. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of five winners will be randomly selected during the session.

December 10: Enterprise/National (More information will be announced soon.)

December 17: JetBlue will highlight various perks available to UC travelers who book their tickets within contract. They will also share information and benefits of their collaboration with United Airlines. Participants will be entered to win one of three status match nominations to Mosaic Level One. Attendance is required to be eligible, and a total of three winners will be randomly selected during the session.
