UC Travel announces Summer Spotlight vendor webinar series

The UC Central Travel Office is once again hosting a Summer Spotlight vendor webinar series. Attend to learn more about the benefits of booking within our systemwide program – and have an opportunity to win prizes from our travel partners.

All sessions take place from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (PT). Select each vendor’s name to register via Zoom. Full details for some events are still pending.

July 24: Delta Air Lines

Aug. 7: Alaska Airlines will expand on what UC travelers can expect when a ticket is booked within the UC contract, including preferred seating, potential upgrades, double miles and the Fast Track program. They will also share information about their growth out of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and their merger with Hawaiian Airlines. Attendees will be entered to win one free ticket to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies within the U.S.

Sept. 11: United Airlines

Sept. 18: Hertz representatives will share best practices to ensure insurance coverage for business-related car rentals and what to do when you run into issues. They will also discuss how to maximize your use of electric vehicles. Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win one $100 Hertz certificate and status upgrades.

Oct. 23: Marriott Hotels

Nov. 6: Enterprise/National

Nov. 20: Lufthansa Airlines

Dec. 4: CQ (Club Quarters)

Dec. 11: Uber
