March 26, 2024: This story has been updated to indicate that Medicare office hours and webinars are ongoing.

The transition to Medicare can be complicated — the UC Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) is here to help. Retirees and prospective retirees can check out weekly office hours and monthly webinars on Medicare to ask questions and get answers. Registration is required, and repeat attendance is encouraged!

Weekly Medicare office hours

Every Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. (PT), retirees and those who are retiring can join sessions with RASC to ask questions and receive support. Private one-on-one breakout rooms are available for personalized assistance.

Understanding Your Medicare Eligibility – Medicare Presentation with Q&A

On the fourth Thursday of the month from 10-11 a.m. (PT), RASC subject matter experts will lead an educational webinar tailored for UC retirees approaching Medicare entitlement or currently on Medicare. Each session will feature a question-and-answer period, with the opportunity to join a private one-on-one breakout room if you prefer.
