UC wants to know what you think about your university-sponsored medical plan.

To that end, Human Resources is launching its annual medical plan satisfaction survey on Monday, April 11. This year more than 35,000 randomly selected faculty, staff and retirees (as well as their spouses or domestic partners) enrolled in a UC-sponsored plan are being asked to provide feedback. Retirees enrolled in Medicare plans will receive a separate, paper-only survey later in the month.

UC uses the feedback to help with planning and shaping offerings for future years.

UC has engaged DSS Research, an independent research firm, to conduct the survey. Faculty and staff with a work email address on file will receive an email from "University of California Human Resources (surveyreply@dsslive.com)" with a link to the survey. The email will also include a username and pin for the survey website.

Those without work email addresses will receive a survey package in the mail with a paper survey and login information so they can either submit the paper questionnaire or go online to complete the survey.

The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and confidential.

The results will be available in late October prior to Open Enrollment.
