2026 Sunshine Notice IX Bargaining

PUBLIC NOTICE

The current collective bargaining agreement between the University of California and UC-AFT (IX Bargaining Unit), provides for successor contract negotiations in 2026.
Bargaining may commence following completion of the public notice meeting scheduled below.

The University will convene a public notice meeting on:

1. Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 from 3:30pm – 5:00pm via Zoom at: https://UCOP.zoom.us/j/96601711951?from=addon or by phone: 1-669-900-6833, use Meeting ID: 966 0171 1951

Interested members of the public may review copies of initial bargaining proposals from both parties online:
