All members of the UC community are invited to watch a livestream of part 1 of the UC Campus Safety Symposium on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. PST. This event will be held entirely as a virtual event to reduce risks related to COVID-19.
The symposium is a two-part virtual event that will include campus leaders, faculty, students, staff and national thought leaders to discuss the future of campus safety and policing at the University of California.
The agenda will include:
- Keynote speakers, recognized for their thought leadership on policing, social justice and campus safety issues
- Perspectives on UC campus safety, from students, staff, faculty, police, campus diversity officers and others
- Plans for Part 2 of the UC Campus Safety Symposium, to be held March 24 that will build upon the dialogue from Part 1
