On Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, members of the UC community are invited to attend “Racing to Zero with Higher Education: Acting and Enabling Global Decarbonization.”
UC President Michael V. Drake, M.D., will join Swedish Minister of Higher Education Matilda Ernkrans and Chatham University President David Finegold to discuss higher education and climate change, drawing attention to the urgency of the climate crisis and how universities are accelerating climate action.
This discussion is co-hosted by the UN Environment Programme and Second Nature as part of the launch of a new worldwide climate change initiative, TED Countdown.
