Public Notice: University of California, Public Notice Process Under HEERA (UC – UAW – Academic Student Employees (BX))
The current Associated Student Employees collective bargaining agreement between the University of California (UC), and the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 2865, provides for successor contract negotiations in 2022. Systemwide bargaining may begin following completion of the public notice meetings scheduled below.
The University will convene initial public notice meetings on February 7, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and February 23, 2022, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, via Zoom at

Interested members of the public may secure copies of initial bargaining proposals from both parties or online at http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu.
