The UC Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) is reaching out to ask a random sample of UC faculty, staff and retirees to join an online focus group to share their experiences with the UC Retirement At Your Service (UCRAYS) retirement benefits self-service website. If you’re asked to participate, your feedback will help the RASC understand what’s working well and guide future improvements so they can serve you better.

You can participate in the focus group from anywhere by using any smartphone, laptop or tablet that can connect to the internet. All responses are anonymous. The session will take about one hour.

How the online focus groups work

The facilitator will ask a series of questions, and participants will respond via chat. For some questions, after you submit your response, you’ll see a summary of how others answered and be asked if you agree with their responses. All responses are anonymous.

A few tips for the session:

Use Google Chrome as your browser if possible. If you are unable to use Google Chrome, use Firefox, Safari or Edge.

If you are disconnected during the session, select the link you used to join, and you’ll be returned to the session in progress.

timer will show the amount of time remaining per question. Submit your response, even if it is incomplete, before the timer expires.

Be sure to stay in the online tool throughout the duration of the session, so you can provide your feedback on all the questions.
