UCnet has a new look and structure, designed to showcase — and help you navigate — the many benefits of working at UC and being part of a unique community that transforms lives and helps solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. With clear navigation and accessible, responsive design, the redesigned UCnet makes it easy to find what you need, whether you’re on your computer, tablet or phone, or using assistive technology.

To the thousands of you who helped guide the UCnet redesign with your feedback — through our survey, focus groups and stakeholder interviews — thank you! Your insights were invaluable.

Here’s a quick guide to the new site:

  • Start at the homepage to find top news, search for jobs or sign in to your benefits accounts. Select your role (under “Have questions? Start here”), and you’ll automatically see the benefits accounts that apply to you.
  • Hover over the main menu at the top of the site (or, on your phone, open the menu at the upper right) for links that quickly take you to information about:
  • Compensation: Review UC’s compensation policies or estimate your total compensation.
  • Employee benefits: Navigate UC’s comprehensive health and welfare, retirement or home and family benefits and learn how to make the most of them.
  • Work-life support: Learn how to take time off work if you need to or find support balancing your many responsibilities.
  • Career & community: Find out how to build your career and deepen your sense of community at UC.
  • Resources: Whether you need a phone number, a form or a copy of your union’s contract, you’ll find it here.
  • Retirees: Retirees now have their own UCnet home for news, benefits and opportunities to stay engaged with UC.
  • If you’re lost, menus on each page — on the right-hand side (or the bottom if you’re on your phone) — help you find your way, showing what section you’re in and what other information you can find in that section.
  • Search — available at the top of the site (or the top of your menu, if you’re on a phone) — is always your friend. You can filter your search results by type (such as web page or PDF) to find what you need more easily.
