UC Travel is a finalist for an international sustainability award

UC’s Central Travel Office has received a prestigious recognition from the BTN Group — the leading global source of business travel and meeting information, news, data, analysis and research serving the $1.4 trillion business travel industry.
UC Travel has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Business Travel Sustainability Awards in the Achievement in Sustainability – Managed Travel Program category. The University of California is the only nonprofit or higher education institution among the finalists and one of just six U.S. organizations nominated.
Established in 2023, the awards recognize advancements in sustainability and climate action policy adoption along with actions taken by companies to align their business travel program with corporate objectives and strategies to advance sustainability practices. An independent panel of senior corporate travel buyers, independent travel management consultants and other sustainability/ESG experts evaluates entries.
The BTN Group will announce winners on April 22, 2025.
