From spending less or saving more to planning for retirement, many of us have New Year’s resolutions related to personal finances. The beginning of the year is a great time to take advantage of the free financial planning resources that are available to UC employees through Fidelity Investments.

Here are three things you can try today.

Attend a financial education webinar

Live webinars are a great opportunity to build your knowledge and ask questions as you go. Fidelity offers different courses each month to suit a variety of interests. Some examples of classes are: Make the Most of the UC Retirement Savings Program, Fundamentals of Retirement Income Planning and Five Money Musts. Check out the webinar schedule here

Get a private, personal financial consultation

Meet one-on-one with a UC-dedicated Fidelity Workplace Financial Consultant by phone or video for help managing money matters, from paying down debt and budgeting to saving and investing for retirement. You can contact Fidelity for a phone consultation at any time, without an appointment, at (800) 558-9182. If you prefer a video visit, or want to avoid time spent on hold, you can also schedule an appointment online.
