Get ready for the new UCnet!

Since its launch in 2010, UCnet has been the go-to systemwide source of employee and retiree news and benefits information. On April 24, we’ll launch a brand-new version of the site to showcase — and help you navigate — the many benefits of working at UC and being part of a community that transforms lives through education, research and public service.

Note: UCnet is operating on a content freeze (i.e., sharing old news only) from April 17 at 8 a.m. through April 23 at 5 p.m. We appreciate your patience — and we promise it’ll be worth the wait!

A sneak peek at the redesigned UCnet

Whether you’re on your computer, tablet or phone, the redesigned UCnet makes it easy to find what you need.

The homepage features top news and direct links to your benefits accounts and resources.

Hover over the main menu at the top of the site (or, on your phone, open the menu on the upper right), to go directly to information about:

  • Compensation: Review UC’s compensation policies or estimate your total compensation.
  • Employee benefits: Navigate UC’s comprehensive health and welfare, retirement or home and family benefits and learn how to make the most of them.
  • Work-life support: Learn how to take time off work if you need to or find support balancing your many responsibilities.
  • Career & community: Find out how to build your career and deepen your sense of community at UC.
  • Resources: Whether you need a phone number, a form or a copy of your union’s contract, you’ll find it here.
  • Retirees: Retirees now have their own UCnet home for news, benefits and resources.

Thank you!

Thousands of you guided our redesign by sharing your thoughts on UCnet through our survey, focus groups and stakeholder interviews. Thank you so much for your work to make UCnet better at its central purpose: helping faculty, staff and retirees navigate the many benefits of working at UC.
