From President Drake: Giving thanks

It seems hard to believe that it is already autumn. This is one of the most beautiful seasons in California. It is also our annual reminder that the year will soon draw to a close — a time to take stock of the goals and achievements we envisioned for our year, to consider what we might yet accomplish, and to express gratitude for the many friends and colleagues who continue to support us, uplift us, and help us to bring our aspirations to life.
Through our work together, we are making a lasting difference in the lives of Californians and people throughout the world. This is something I am deeply grateful for and I hope you are, too. I also wish to thank you, my UC colleagues, for the effort, insight, and partnership you share with me and one another every day.
