The 2023-2024 Annual Report for the Center for Data-driven Insights and Innovation (CDI2) highlights key achievements in using data to improve health care at the University of California Health system.

Throughout the year, the CDI2 secured over $1 million in research funding, created 50+ dashboards to support clinical care, and helped manage chronic diseases like diabetes. They also collaborated on clinical trials, saved $1 million in medication costs, and led a systemwide AI governance forum.

CDI2’s research environment grew, resulting in 10 new publications.
