Leading up to the 2024 elections, UC will be helping to get out the vote — making it easy for voters of all ages and affiliations to get the nonpartisan information they need to make their voices heard! As part of these efforts, we’ll be amplifying the voices of UC staff who are planning to head to the polls (or the mailbox) this year. Please take a moment to send your voting perspectives and experiences to help us share why the 2024 elections are important to UC staff.

Here’s how to participate

  1. Send an email to ucnetwork@universitycalifornia.edu with answers to one (or more) of the following prompts:
    • I’m voting in this year’s election because…
    • The topics most important to me in this year’s election are…
    • Something that excites me about this year’s election is…
    • I think everyone who’s eligible should vote because…
    • I help others in my community to vote by…
    • One of the most memorable elections I’ve participated in has been…
    • A voting experience I’ll never forget is…
  2. Include your name, job title and UC location in the body of the email
  3. Include a photo of yourself that we can share with your message (casual photos are fine; bonus points if your photo relates in some way to democracy)

Please make sure that any responses follow the UC Principles of Community. For questions, contact our editorial team at ucnetwork@universitycalifornia.edu.
