Attend the next UC Systemwide Academic Congress: Shaping Global Futures — International Education in the California Context

University of California Academic Affairs, in partnership with the UC Education Abroad Program, invites all UC faculty and staff to attend the next UC Systemwide Academic Congress: Shaping Global Futures — International Education in the California Context.

As the University of California navigates an era of geopolitical uncertainty, shifting federal policy and deepening global inequity, this two-day virtual Congress convenes UC faculty, administrators, international partners and alumni to reimagine what internationalization means for one of the world’s premier public university systems.

Through conversations on equitable research partnerships, workforce readiness, “glocal” learning and the support of international students, this Congress explores a forward-looking strategy for global engagement rooted in California’s distinctive values and responsibilities.

The event will take place on Tuesday, June 16, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (PT).
