The current Postoctoral Scholars collective bargaining agreement between the University of California (UC), and the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 5810, provides for successor contract negotiations in 2021. Systemwide bargaining may begin following completion of the public notice meetings scheduled below.
The University will convene initial public notice meetings on May 19, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am via Zoom https://UCOP.zoom.us/j/95271196166 and/or telephone at +16692192599, 95271196166# US (Meeting ID#) and June 2, 2021 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am via Zoom https://UCOP.zoom.us/j/99709509898 and/or at +16699006833, 99709509898# US (Meeting ID#). Copies of initial bargaining proposals will be available at the meetings. Interested members of the public may secure copies of initial bargaining proposals from both parties or online at http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu.
