The current Academic Researchers collective bargaining agreement between the University of California (UC), and the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) Local 5810, provides for successor contract negotiations in 2022. Systemwide bargaining may begin following completion of the public notice meeting schedules below.
The University will convene public notice meetings on August 30, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, and September 13, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, both via Zoom at

Interested members of the public may secure copies of the University’s bargaining proposals from both parties or online at http://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu.
