University of California, Public Notice Process under HEERA
(SAN DIEGO HOUSE STAFF ASSOCIATION – THE COMMITTEE OF INTERNS AND RESIDENTS/SEIU HEALTHCARE (SDHSA-CIR/SEIU)
The Higher Education Employer–Employee Relations Act, which governs collective bargaining of higher education employers in the state of California, requires that the university as the employer provide notice to the public before it begins negotiations with an exclusive representative.
The University of California, San Diego Health and the San Diego House Staff Association, will locally bargain a new labor contract following completion of the public notice meetings scheduled below.
The University will convene two initial public notice meetings on:
