Public Notice – UC Berkeley/LBNL and Alameda County Building and Construction Trades Council (Union) Sunshine
The University of California, Berkeley (“University”), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
(“LBNL”), and Alameda County Building and Construction Trades Council (“Union”) will be
entering into negotiations to extend the collective bargaining agreement, which expires on
September 30, 2025, for a period of one year, with re-openers on Article 3 – Dues Deductions,
Article 25 – Salary, and Article 33 – Duration.
The University will convene public notice meetings on September 17, 2024 from 11:00 am –
1:00 pm at the Berkeley Public Library – North Branch, North Branch Meeting Room, 1170 The
Alameda, Berkeley, Ca., 94707, and on September 30, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the
Berkeley Public Library West Branch, West Branch Meeting Room, 1125 University Ave,
Berkeley, Ca., 94702. Interested members of the public may secure copies of the initial
bargaining proposals of both parties during the meetings.
