President Drake will headline “Leading Through Culture” event

The Berkeley Culture Initiative invites UCOP colleagues to attend a “fireside chat” with President Michael V. Drake, M.D., on Tuesday, March 9, from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. PST.
In line with a central theme of the Berkeley Culture Initiative’s third annual Culture Conference – Addressing Systemic Racism and Fostering Inclusion Through Organizational Culture – UC Berkeley Professors Jennifer Chatman and Sameer Srivastava will moderate a discussion with President Drake on developing strategies to cultivate a culture of inclusion and equity. They will draw from President Drake’s extensive career in higher education, during which he has implemented many innovative solutions to improve university diversity and access.
This will be the first of the Berkeley Culture Initiative’s “Leading Through Culture” fireside chat series, spotlighting culture leaders from government, education, industry and academia.
