From President Drake: A budget proposal that reflects our important work

Last week, Governor Newsom announced a proposed state budget for 2023-24 that reflects his ongoing commitment to UC and the important work we all do, every day, in serving the people of California and ensuring the state’s economic, technological and social vitality.

This budget proposal upholds the funding investments under the five-year budget compact achieved last year, and we are deeply grateful for the governor’s continued support, especially during this time of economic challenge.
