Updates from your non-medical benefit plans as they respond to COVID-19

The ADA recommends postponing elective procedures and encourages dentists to use teledentistry to diagnose emergency situations before seeing patients in person. Supplemental Health 

The Critical Illness plan provides a benefit for COVID-19 testing, and the Hospital Indemnity plan provides benefits for hospital admissions and confinement related to COVID-19. For assistance, please call the UC Plus Customer Service Center at 888-212-7201 or visit www.ucplus.com.


A diagnosis of COVID-19 is a disabling condition, and will be handled the same as other illnesses under the Disability plans. Auto, home and rental

California Casualty is offering policyholders options for premium relief in light of the coronavirus. For example, those whose income is affected may defer 100% of premium payments for two months with a “skip” payment option, and those who are driving less due to shelter-in-place or stay-at-home directives may apply for temporary premium reductions.
