Open Enrollment is here: News for retirees

Open Enrollment has begun — your opportunity to enroll in or make changes to your benefits — with a deadline of 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19. If you’re not making changes, you don’t need to do anything! Your current insurance coverage will continue automatically into next year, but your costs may change.

In 2022, UC will continue to offer the same high-quality benefits as last year for retirees, with a few important changes, including a new pharmacy benefit manager for some UC plans.

Open Enrollment information from UC may arrive in your mailbox later than usual this year. In the meantime, you can view or download UC’s Open Enrollment packet for California retirees or booklet for out-of-state retirees.

Our redesigned Open Enrollment website (ucal.us/oe) is easy to use and works great on your computer, tablet or phone. Get started online for information about this year’s choices, changes and costs.
