Under the direction of the SPD Manager, the Central Sterile Tech is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterllization of supplies and equipment dispense by the department throughout the hospital and outlying clinics. Participates on special projects md depal1mental and medical center-wide performance improvement projects as requested.

Per Diem Central Sterile Tech II

Reporting to the SPD Manager, the Central Sterile Tech II is a certlfled tech responsible for the decontamination. cleaning, processing9 and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the Sterile Processing department. Specific duties include orienting new staff and ensuring complete biological testing and appropriate recording of the sterilizer function. The Central Sterile Tech II is responsible for receiving loanerand rental equipment, prioritizing the receipts, and delivering to the appropriate destination. Participates on special projects and departmental and medical center-wide performance improvement projects asrequested.

Central Sterile Tech II (Lead)

Under the direction of the SPD Manager, the Lead Central Sterile Tech is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department throughout the hospit.al and outlying clinics. Incumbent is responsible for scheduling staff, maintaining productivity levels within the unit, assisting managerwith hiring process and provides input regarding staff performance.

Participates on special projects and departmental and medical center-wide perfonnance improvement projects as requested.
