Craft Zone Senior Lead

Provides lead oversight for a campus zone consisting of trade workers, apprentices, and facilities staff. Responsible for planning and executing a variety of general maintenance and repair projects, as well as leading responses to daily maintenance and repair requests within the assigned zone. Performs and leads a full range of skilled trade tasks, leveraging expertise in the incumbent’s specialized craft across the zone and campus-wide. Additionally, serves as a project manager with campus-wide accountability for coordinating the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and operation of major infrastructure systems.

Zone Lead

The Zone Lead performs lead responsibilities for a specific physical facilities maintenance and repair unit consisting of trades workers, apprentices, and facilities workers. Plans and implements a variety of preventative maintenance and repair projects, as well as overseeing the response to daily maintenance and repair requests as needed. Performs the full spectrum of skilled trades tasks, utilizing expertise in the incumbent’s specialized craft within the assigned unit and across the campus.

Zone Mechanic

The zone mechanic handles repairs, troubleshooting, and upkeep within a specific assigned area, unit, building, or operational zone of the campus.
