Retiree medical plan costs for 2027

Important correction to mailed brochure: Three figures included in the medical premium information under “When one or more family members are not Medicare-eligible” are incorrect (the Medicare Part B reimbursement for Kaiser HMO/Senior Advantage for “Self (in Medicare) + Child(ren)” and for “Self + 2 Adults in Medicare” and the premium for UC Care/UC Medicare PPO for “Self (in Medicare) + Child(ren)”). The correct information is provided below, in UCRAYS and in the retiree health premium estimator.

The 2027 monthly costs for medical coverage below apply to retirees eligible for 100% of the UC/employer contribution toward the premium for each plan.

If you are subject to graduated eligibility and not eligible for the maximum UC/employer contribution, your costs may be higher than those listed below. The Retiree Health Plan Premium Estimator can help you understand what your share of your retiree medical premium might be. Please sign in to your UCRAYS account to see your actual costs.

Your plan cost appears as a deduction on your UCRP benefit direct deposit statement or check.
