UCPath online for former employees
UCPath online for former employees
After you leave UC, you can continue to access your past UC earning statements and W-2 forms through UCPath online with former employee access. Here’s what you need to know.
Logging in to UCPath as a former employee
To make sure you have convenient access to UCPath after you leave UC, it’s important to follow the following steps in order:
- Make sure UCPath has your personal email address and phone number on file. It’s best to keep this information up-to-date in your UCPath account before you leave UC. Otherwise, you’ll need to call UCPath to update your email address and request your former employee registration information.
- Watch your inbox for an email from UCPath with a link to register for the former employee portal. You should receive this within a few days of leaving UC or updating your email address. UCPath will also send two monthly reminder emails if you haven’t registered.
- Use the link to register for your former employee account as soon as possible. The link is only valid for 90 days from your last day with UC. After that, you’ll need to call UCPath to request a new registration link.
- Sign into UCPath by selecting “University of California; Former Employees” (at the bottom of the list of locations). Your new sign-in information will not work on your former location’s sign-in page.
Accessing your information
Once you have access to UCPath for former employees, you’ll be able to view and download your earning statements and W-2 forms for payroll information that UCPath processed. You’ll also be able to keep your personal contact information up to date.
You will have access to the Former Employee system for up to three years after your separation date, so make sure to download any information you need for your records.
