Job Summary
Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and managing data systems infrastructure to ensure data integrity, security and accessibility. Includes maintaining and optimizing information systems, migrating data and systems as needed, managing or developing data practices, databases and related guidelines, dictionaries, registries and services. May include interpreting scientific research data artifacts, mediating across science and technology domains, and supporting long-term data stewardship. As an information architect and data steward: involves designing systems, data products and production processes with a focus on data curation, exchange, security, integrity and the overall information environment. This role also involves re-evaluating frameworks, strategies, and standards and may involve work with a project-level data repository, data center or archives.
