UC is committed to market-competitive salaries and benefits for our nurses, and we routinely conduct market studies and provide regular pay increases to ensure nurses’ salaries remain competitive.

Current salaries for UC nurses range from about $81,000 to $266,000 a year, with 46 percent of UC nurses earning above the average salary for a full-time nurse of about $138,000 a year.

In addition to market-competitive pay, UC’s total compensation package includes quality health care benefits for employees and their families as well as excellent retirement benefits. UC’s benefits package is more generous than many public and private employers.

UC and CNA are currently in contract negotiations and have not yet exchanged wage proposals. Details about UC’s wage proposal will be available on this website soon.
