The University of California values the diversity of its students, faculty, and staff. As part of UC’s public
service mission around diversity, equity, and inclusion, the University strives to cultivate a community of
belonging and open dialogue for all. It is through this cultivation where everyone can be their best selves
at UC.

Systemwide Human Resources is doing their part in cultivating dialogue at UC by holding a fireside chat
during the inaugural UC Systemwide HR Institute where key UC leaders Yvette Gullatt and Christine Lovely will be addressing the question, “How can human resources professionals promote greater equity and inclusion in shaping the next generation of professionals and leaders?”

This effort will inspire a more supportive environment for UC employees to further advance the University mission of teaching, research, and public service.
