University of California, Public Notice Process Under HEERA (UC — FUPOA Police)

The Higher Education Employer–Employee Relations Act, which governs collective bargaining of higher education employers in the state of California, requires that the university as the employer provide notice to the public before it begins negotiations with an exclusive representative.

The university will convene an initial public notice meeting on June 24, 2016 from 2–4 p.m. at 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA, Conference Room 1012. A second and final public notice meeting will be held on July 11, 2016 from 9–11 a.m. at 300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA, Conference Room 1012.
