University of California, Public Notice Process Under HEERA (UC Merced – Skilled Craft – KM)

The Higher Education Employer–Employee Relations Act, which governs collective bargaining of higher education employers in the state of California, requires that the university as the employer provide notice to the public before it begins negotiations with an exclusive representative.

The university will convene an initial public notice meeting on October 28, 2014 from 10 a.m to noon in the Conference Room M at 755 E. Yosemite Ave, Bldg M, Suite M, Merced, CA. A second public notice meeting will be held on November 7, 2014 from 10 a.m. to noon in HR Conference Room A at 767 E. Yosemite Ave, Bldg B, Suite A/B, Merced, CA.
