YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO COME TO WORK AND NOT PARTICIPATE IN A STRIKE

UC has met nearly all of AFSCME’s demands, yet AFSCME still wants to strike.

AFSCME’s unreasonable stance is costing you and your colleagues the pay and stability of a settled contract.

The UC offer AFSCME rejected on Saturday:

• 27% wage increase over 4 years
• No rate increases in Kaiser and Health Net (paybands 1-2)
• Same retirement benefits as UC nurses
• More protection from layoffs and contracting out
• UC withdrew its Emergency Call-Off Proposal that AFSCME cited as the reason for the strike! But AFSCME insists you go on strike anyway.

AFSCME’s behavior hurts the entire medical center, our employees and our patients.

THERE IS NO REASON TO STRIKE
